Blackstone Chardonnay, Monterey County, 2008
Blackstone carefully selects Chardonnay grapes from various microclimates in the cool, coastal winegrowing region of Monterey County. These vineyards produce grapes abundant with floral and tropical fruit flavors. After harvesting, a portion of the wine was barrel fermented, undergoing malo-lactic fermentation to enhance the long, silky finish. This elegant wine is easily paired with a variety of cuisines, including light pasta and poultry dishes. Alc 13.5% by vol.
